Rules Governing Parade

• All participants will have a representative report to registration no later than 11:30 am on August 2, 2025.

• Vehicles and apparatus to be judged must be registered and in judging area between 9:00 am & 11:00 am, no exceptions.

• Parade registration will be located at Fourth Street & Fickes Lane, Newport, PA.

• Parade starts promptly at 12:00 noon, rain or shine.

• Marching groups will be judged during parade.  Musical and paid groups will not be judged.  Parade judging area will be clearly marked.  Apparatus and vehicles will be judged between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.   If apparatus arrives in staging area past 11am - it will be ineligible to be judged. 

• Proper display of colors

• No spot drilling allowed

• No sounding of sirens before and during the parade 

• Parade participants with live animals must clean up any animal waste.  This includes forming areas and parade route.
